I'm getting the same thing as Meowie--just the "Foodie Blogroll" title that I put in. The code gets erased every time I click save.

Is there a way to center the box?

When I add the widget to my Wordpress blog it creates a small extra blank box below the main widget. Is their something goofy in the script causing that? When I use firebug it refers to it as an image link: Which is a 1x1 pixel box. Can someone help with this? It looks really strange. Thanks!

Hi: I got mine to work by doing as follows: 1. Went to dashboard for my wordpress site.2. Clicked widgets (under appearance). 3. Found text widget. 5. Copied and pasted foodieblogroll URL into text widget area .(First I used the one that I received in the email saying my blog/site was accepted.) 6. Dragged the text widget to sidebar to activate. (Needed to do this so the foodieblogroll folks can scan and make sure it is there, then fully activate the account.) 7. First it showed just an empty box, but by clicking the box I could get to the foodie blog roll. 8. The next day, when my account was fully activated, I was provided a new widget URL when I logged in to my foodieblogroll account. 9. I removed the original URL and replaced the new one in the text widget and Joila: widget appeared properly on my site! Good Luck!

Krissy is exactly right: on WP 3.0, the only way to add the widget is by using the existing text widget. (go figure!) Thanks for this hint; I'm now all sorted out!

I keep adding the widget in a text box and at first it shows but eventually when I refresh my screen it disappears. I've done this several times since last night. Does anyone else using wordpress have this problem? thanks, Lin

I don't have a "Design" menu option in the most recent version of Wordpress (my blog is Wordpress-hosted). Is there some alternative code to use so that the widget will work properly?
