• About Me Nicole is a 24 year old living in the DC Metro area. This blog used to be devoted to personal rants, but with her graduation from college, she found a more focused passion with food (restaurants, recipes) and bento, Japanese boxed lunch. She hopes to have some influence over the young, local, foodie crowd, but most of the entries here are still mostly for personal use (to aid her rapidly failing memory). Nicole is also the organizer for CupcakeCampDC, an annual ad-hoc gathering to benefit local charities. Another hobby of hers is maintaining her Japanese knowledge and maybe eventually re-picking up her Chinese. This all stems from her family who is ethnically Chinese and Cherokee, but culturally Hawai’ian.
